There are multiple artists who have used the name Blue Velvet: 1. A rock band from Volendam, The Netherlands 2. An industrial band from Japan 3. An indie rock band from Austin, Texas 4. A Japanese duo 1. Blue Velvet, named after the cultfilm from David Lynch, was formed in 2004 in the classic way: six friends from school decided to form a band.
